“As a proud pass-out of the City English School 1996 batch, I look back on my time in the school with deepest gratitude and appreciation. My school provided not just an education, but an experience that prepared me for the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead. The learnings I had at the school laid the foundation for both my academic and personal growth, shaping me into the person I am today.

“The journey at City English School, has been nothing short of transformative—a sanctuary where knowledge was not just imparted, but ignited. With every lesson, I discovered not just subjects, but myself. The ethos of the school, grounded in excellence and empathy, taught me that ‘education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.’ The dedicated teachers, the vibrant community, and the values instilled here have left an indelible mark on my soul. I carry forward the spirit of this institution with immense gratitude, for it has shaped me into the person I am today. Truly, our City English School, is not just a place of learning; it is a forge where dreams take flight.”

“The best days of my life were those unforgettable school days at City English School. Every memory feels like a chapter filled with laughter, innocence, and friendship. Back then, we were just kids, with no idea how precious those moments would become. Today, we’re still “City Boyz,” bound by a friendship that started in classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds. It’s hard to find the right words to describe the feeling; it’s that deep ache of nostalgia, a longing to go back to a simpler time when our biggest worries were homework and exams, and life was filled with endless possibilities. If only I could walk back down those memory lanes, just to relive those small but beautiful moments— the laughter, the mischief, the dreams we shared. Some part of me will always be there, in those school corridors, with those friends who knew me before life got complicated. I miss those days. “

“One thing which my schooling has left in me is discipline. I could bet on the disciplined environment we experienced at CEMS must have had left a transformative impression in each of our life creating self control, responsibility and accountability in us. We had an amazing diverse student stream and culture surrounding us developing respect, empathy and cooperation among students. CEMS teachers have been so dedicated to nurture our abilities to learn and evolve as an individual. We depended on our teachers more than go around for several tuitions outside the school. More importantly, scolding from teachers were blessings those days! I’m one of those proud CITYZEN!”
